Union Labor Health Foundation (ULHF) Community Health Grants
The Board of Directors of the Union Labor Health Foundation is proud to continue our tradition of supporting health programs that make a difference in the lives of Humboldt County residents. The Foundation provides funding to projects or institutions that nurture, foster, encourage, support and educate in order to enhance the wellbeing of each individual within our region.
We are streamlining our Community Health Grant application process and will only be accepting proposals once in the 2011-2012 fiscal year. The next deadline to apply for a Community Health Grant is Monday, September 3, 2012. Due to our limited resources and great demands for funding, we will not be holding a Spring grant round this year.
Grant size:
The average size grant awarded through the Community Health Grant program over the last year was $4,500, although we accept proposals of up tp $10,000. Some considerations are made to support programs at a greater level under special circumstances. Please contact ULHF's Program Manager, Amy Jester, at (707) 442-2417 if you plan to apply for a grant in excess of $10,000.
